(More customer reviews)Comic Life Deluxe is an ingenious piece of software that is designed to help you layout and create comic strips using your existing iPhoto library, or by capturing images with an attached iSight camera. You can use it for a variety of other tasks if you choose, but it is primarily built for fun in creating comic strips.
It has the same look and feel of the interface used in most native Mac applications that use an integrated system allowing you to work with your iPhoto albums. You just drag and drop your photos onto your page where you can instantly "comicify" or digitally alter your photos to look like comic drawings. There are many different filters and effects included. The built in fonts, templates, word/thought balloons, and page layouts provide a wide array of choices and options and everything works on a simple drag and drop method.
When you are finished you can print, export to HTML, save as PDF or publish directly to your .Mac account and share your comics with the entire world. From what I can tell, this product appears to be rock solid and very intuitive. If you are familiar with iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD, then you should have no problem finding your way around in this program. It provides all of the basic tools you need to allow your imagination explore the depths of your creativity. I love it. One of the best apps I've ever purchased for a mere $30.

This one has really impressed me with its powerful options and features and its fun, original and easy approach. The Spy feature is *very* original. The Dictations module is practical. One of the games is very creative (the Boss), the other could have been better. I would really recommend this product to anyone who wants to learn typing while having fun, no matter your age. I recently ordered the Junior version for the library. I will keep you posted.

Well, that is, the two voices in the program, one male and one female seem to interact nicely. THAT's as interactive as it gets. They have an audio cd that I've been listening to while cleaning. So you get to learn to listen read and talk first. And then you learn how to write. I've been messing with this thing everyday. I love it!!! Can't wait to get into a real class and talk with real people. I'll be ahead this time.

I Luv House Pets Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this game (with my own money mind you) thinking it would be something like zoo tycoon or Nintendogs;build a pet hotel, take care of pets, fun mini games YAY! I was SEVERELY disappointed. Your basically the mayor of this town for pets and you play various mini games to get food for your citizens and increase population. The first few levels were mildly entertaining, but the fourth level where you have to get a train to your city by jumping over logs and ducking under Stick things is literally IMPOSSIBLE to beat. Its not just because I'm bad at it but it is literally impossible. When you jump over logs you fall VERY slowly back down to Earth, and theres no way to hit ground faster, so when theres a stick you need to duck under after jumping the log, you ALWAYS fall on top of it and crash. Maybe the rest of the game is fun, I don't know because you cant make it past the fourth level. DO NOT BUY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The only thing is that newer computer might not be compatible with the game. I have Windows Vista and at 1st it didnt work on my machine, but after looking through all the files i manually installed it. Although on fullscreen, it glitches every once in awhile.

So we purchased this updated version to work for Windows XP. To our disappointment, it wouldnt work. We try on both computers and it did not work so we had to get a refund. If it worked, it would have been a great program. Maybe the product was defective, but 4 out of 5 we ordered did not work.

Super Solvers - Midnight Rescue Review

(More customer reviews)Great game, but don't expect to run it in Windows XP using Windows 95 compatiblity mode. After installation, when attempting to run the program, an error "The MIDI driver for your sound card could not be found" appears and the only option allowed is to exit the program. My MIDI drivers are working fine, and dxdiag reports no errors. I've tried three different MIDI emulators (Sound Blaster Audigy, Realtek, and Yamaha) and all of them result in the same message. And the documentation does not state anywhere that a MIDI device is even necessary. Apparently, others have the same problem as there are several web postings asking for help with the problem. Further, the web site listed for help and support no longer exists.
