(More customer reviews)Downloaded and installed the patch. Runs ok, Crashed a few times, mostly with loading a saved game. Crashed a couple of times changing locations/scenes. Some graphics sync and voice sync problems.
It could be windows vista, or maybe my nvidia graphics card, or run configuration. I didn't try running it with windows compatability mode.
The game itself is ok/good. The interaction is easy and straight-forward. The "puzzles" are not overly complicated or convoluted as some other games of this genre tend to be. If you're use to, or you like the more difficult specimens of this type, you will find this game "too easy".
I probably could have gotten through it without using a walkthrough at all. Except I'm impatient and I like to keep the game/story moving along.
I got a chuckle out of a couple of the obscure "nerdy" references. Some political commentary that is now dated. Some "I remember that" moments.
All in all a pretty good adventure / use-this-with-that game (I wouldn't call it a puzzle game)
They have a sequel released in europe that continues the storyline. I'll probably get that one also.

(More customer reviews)My daughter is 3 1/2 and loves Dora. But this game is WAY too simple for her. There just aren't enough things to do, and even the higher levels don't really challenge compared to her two other games: Care Bears and Blue's Clues. If you have a two-year-old or a child who's never played on a computer, this is great at teaching basic color, shape & number recognition and how to use a mouse & click. A better choice for a 3 - 4 year old is Blue's ABC Time Activities.

(More customer reviews)if you're not familiar with the "Collapse/Super Collapse" series of games from Gamehouse, you may not know what this is. you can download demo games of all the games in the "Collapse/Super Collapse" series, including the "Puzzle Gallery" ones if you'd like to 'try before you buy.'
if you ARE familiar with them, this is right up your alley. you can purchase the 5(?) different "Puzzle Gallery" ones (which contain 300 puzzles each, for a total of 1500) directly from Gamehouse, at approximately $7.00usd each (with a Gamehouse membership). the price of this one, with 600 different "Puzzle Gallery" puzzles, is just a few dollars less than purchasing 2 of them from Gamehouse.
the object of each puzzle is to click on sets of colored blocks, to clear them from the board, so that you're left with no single blocks. the fewer clicks you use to clear the board, the higher your score.
i already have all 5 of these games, so no need for me to purchase on cd. now, if you don't care for this type of game, you may not think it rates 5 stars, however the quality is outstanding and i saw no need to take off stars because this type of game isn't my favorite (it isn't, but i still enjoy playing them from time to time).

There are enough different games to play to keep him interested for an extended length of time (up to 30 minutes), and he wants to play it again the next day. He has not tired of it yet and we have had it for 2 months (a long time at this age). It has improved his concentration, eye-hand coordination, color and number recognition and how to follow directions. It keeps an adult's interest, too.

And I think that having come to me with no preconcieved ideas, I wasn't expecting anything; frankly, there are a lot of half-thought games out there. So I don't want to blow this game out of proportions and raise any expectations, but you will not be disappointed. The graphics, soundtrack and thought behind the game excel most on the shelves. You aren't required to shoot everything (or anything, for that matter) to complete your task - because everything can be done two, three, four different ways, like normal life... Normal life of a Mission Impossible Spy, I should say. Even the details that don't matter are excellent! Sure, at times I was tripped up because I was caught up in the awe of looking around - forgetting I had a mission - and sometimes the logical solutions only made the most sense AFTER you solved them - but I play these games to unleash sides of my mind I don't use 9 to 5. This one sure did it for me. A player should not feel disappointed at any point during this game, because Dreamcatcher tended to every detail. More thrilling than Safecracker and MUCH longer than the Forgotten - this one is the best game I have played in years.

(More customer reviews)I found this game to be very similiar to the real show. The characters and the sound effects are great. This game takes you and the gang to a spooky medieval castle in Nova Scotia where you help solve the mystery of the missing Princess, but watch out for the Phantom Knight, who can appear when you least expect it! Find clues, talk to suspects, explore the castle, earn Scooby Snacks by playing games! The Scooby Snacks are used to bribe Scooby to explore a scary area of the castle. Plenty of challenging games and puzzles to solve to help the kids build their thinking and problem solving skills. There are three difficulty levels in the game and a little Scrappy Doo icon at the bottom of the screen that you can click on and ask questions if you need help. The game is geared toward 5-10 year olds. I think it should be geared to 7-60 year olds! I thought it was really fun but my 5 year old nephew found it frustrating to solve the mystery, however, he was fascinated with the color and sound effects. The game holds your interest and makes you want to come back for more. In fact, don't tell my nephew but I can't wait to play it before he comes home from school! Shhh!
