It is very easy to take on the challange of a card game when looking for something to do while sitting at the computer- play cards. Also, if you desire, you can play against opponents on-line or just while away the hours playing Solitaire. Whatever you choose to do be assured that you will have a complete set of rules or directions to guide you through the game.

(More customer reviews)The Amazon listing for this game shows compability with Windows XP, leading one to assume that it would be OK for Vista. Don't believe it - this game dates back to 1999 and was designed for Windows 95/98. It does not work with Vista (even after running through compability mode)- the cursor movement is totally off and makes the game impossible to play. The Windows XP designation should be removed from the listing, or at least provided with a conditional statement re Vista

(More customer reviews)I bought this mainly for Rook, but sometimes play the other games too. The most annoying thing about this package is that you must have the CD in the drive to play. I understand that it's for copy protection, but it's very irritating if you want to load it onto your laptop for travel. Most games have some interesting variations (Rook has classic, tournament, and Red One), but if Atari and Hasbro had really thought it through they could have allowed more variation for house rules, like some PC versions of Monopoly do. No apparent differences in the computer players either, beyond the silly animations. The tutorial feature is a nice touch. Pretty basic stuff, but a good buy for under $10.

Plays the games as advertised and works well. Some players get annoying and their comments are repititous, but you can turn off the sound. Works on older systems WIN98SE through XP; doesn't say about Vista or Win7.
