We had this game and somehow lost it. I bought it again for my 6 year old's birthday and he really enjoys playing it.
There are 3 levels which allows my younger son, older son and me to play and feel challenged (yes, I enjoy it too!) The games encourage problem solving, recognizing patterns and fun.
It works fine on all of our computers with 2000, XP and Vista.
I highly recommend it.

The game delivered exactly what it promised. The games are very cute and fun--especially the one where you can create your own printable scenes!

Little Monster At School Review

I was worried with the many comments made by others who were unable to get this book to run on a newer operating system. On Window's XP the CD would not open so I followed the example from the software company following these steps:
First create a folder on your hard drive called Living books. Then create another folder within Living books folder titled "Little Monster at School". Open C drive and go to the DVD drive holding the CD, right click and open with explore. Copy the contents of the CD to the new folder on the hard drive. Find the file that is the application file (look for the iron of the monster). Right click, choose properties, select the compataility tab, change this to Windows 2000, Check the blocks for 256 color mode and 640 X 480 screen size. Click apply and close. Right click on the application icon again and select Send to Desktop (shortcut). Everything should work fine now without the use of the CD. Do this for ALL Living Books in newer operating systems...from windows XP and up.
I know this is alot of work but the books are worth the time. My kids love them all! Wish they'd write more! This story is very interactive and enjoyable!

Dr. Seuss' ABCs Review

I purchased this for my son because the version we owned was made for Windows 98 and had a problem with the video stuttering when installed on XP. This says it's made for XP but the copy I received was the exact made for Windows 98 version I already owned. So a warning to you if you are purchasing this for the same reason I purchased this. Although this will install and run on XP; THIS WAS NOT MADE FOR WINDOWS XP!
that is all...
