Super Game House Solitaire Collection (Jewel Case) Review

Super Game House Solitaire Collection (Jewel Case)

When I decided to purchase "Super Gamehouse Solitaire Collection" it had been years since I had played - and back then I was only aware of one way to play this card game. But, after trying the various Solitaire games available in this collection I found many of them to be great fun, and even found some new favorites.
There are so many different games in this collection that it would take up way too much space to describe them all - suffice it to say that it includes such Solitaire varities as: Klondike, Addiction, Tri Peaks, Free Cell, Pyramid, Turbo, Crescent, Yukon, Vegas, and many, many more...
My particular favorites are Klondike (this is the game of Solitaire I used to play as a child), Free Cell (this one takes a bit of thought, skill, & ingenuity - it's not just a game of chance), Addiction (another one that takes a bit of fore-thought), and Crescent (I've yet to win a game of Crescent Solitaire, but I love playing it just the same).
Overall, I would highly recommend the "Super Gamehouse Solitaire Collection" to anyone who enjoys playing Solitaire & would like to try some interesting twists on the original concept, as well as those who are looking for a computer card game that can be played alone - who knows, it may become one of your favorites as well...

Saved me a lot of money when I went to Vegas. Casino 2004 taught me that I knew very little about playing poker. I did not try playing poker at Vegas.

Hoyle Casino Empire Review

Hoyle Casino Empire
Average Reviews:

This game isn't the most complex one of the "tycoon" games you will find. It is pretty entertaining. Sometimes I like a game that isn't so complicated that it takes three websites to consult with how to just make it through. The casinos that you work through are [copies] of their Las Vegas Counterparts, as are the "celebrities" that will make it into your casino if you are good enough. Some of the graphics are 2D such as many of the attractions you will build in your casino, and the games really aren't that distinquishable.
It is fairly easy to get the hang of, the audio is pretty good, with background noise, some nice lounge music, and commentary from the guests. The game does throw your casino development with a few curves such as other casinos trying to infiltrate and disrupt your business. Its fun, lighthearted, and a great way to get started in other "Tycoon" sort of games. While it isn't the best Tycoon game out there, I do like this one, it has good game play, and you don't need to buy a guide to work through this one.

Monopoly Casino Vegas Edition Review

As another reviewer noted, this is NOT the XP/Vista version despite what the product description says. It's the Win95/98 version - really old. I can still play it, but the game itself is so bad that I don't want to. It's clunky to get around in, and just really poorly designed. What a shame -- it seemed like a fun concept.
