She needed help with it at first to get used to the controls ( took around 30mins to teach her how to move and jump).She loves it and has spent a good 15-20 hours on it before finishing the game the first time. Thats quite a long time ,as other barbie games she has had, she has finished ~5hours. The game has a couple hard mini games you need to play to get through the story. My girl couldnt do it at first so she asked for my help through these spots her first couple playthroughs. eventually she has learned to do these by herself after 2-3 playthroughs. I think she has now finished the game ~5 times so its clear she has enjoyed it. It doesnt take her more than 10hours now to finish it though but she doesnt play it anymore anyways.
basically Its a long game which will take your kids time, so it is worth buying this over other barbie games.
