(More customer reviews)This was originally purchased for my laptop, but has since been used as a nice, functional bag for carrying around my netbook. It's a little big for a netbook, but I like that it has lots of space/pockets to carry other essentials such as a mouse, power cord, external optical drive, etc., without being so big as to be too bulky.
It has all the features the bigger, more expensive bags have without the high price. It's good quality construction - all the zippers work well - and it's held up to lots of use. The carrying handles are well made as is the shoulder strap. The handles are not adjustable but the removable shoulder strap is. It's made for a 15" laptop and has a nice, padded area with a hold-down strap to keep the lappy secure.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the fasteners on the outside flap pocket. There's 2 snaps to hold the flap closed, and I can't get them to line up easily to snap them in place. You have to tip the bag on it's side to see where the snaps are to line them up - perhaps something like velcro would have been a better choice for a fastener. (I purchased some black, glue-on velcro to put under the flap, but just haven't gotten around to putting it on yet as I never used that front pocket for anything important.)
Weight was a consideration when buying this - it weighs about 2-1/2 lbs with the shoulder strap.
This is touted as a woman's bag, but other than some light-colored padding inside, I don't see any features on here that don't appear on a man's bag as well. The description says the padding is a pink color, but it's not a bold pink - it has a beige/tan quality to it. I had to look twice and take the bag outside to really see any pink tones in the color (that's just my humble opinion). Good item at a reasonable price.
