(More customer reviews)Important caveat with this charger is that it will NOT charge the battery on some laptops while the computer is operating. My Dell Latitude D830 uses a large battery and normally takes a 90W power supply. When I have the computer running, all the Kensington does is provide enough power so that it doesn't use any batteries. When the laptop is in standby or off, it will charge the battery.
So a good rule of thumb perhaps is that this Kensington will charge and power a laptop that uses a 70W or less power supply.
Regardless of all these quirks, the unit died anyway after 37 days of use. Not a very good value for the money at any price.
