I just got this game recently and totally love it!! I've played a game with each different guy!! Sometimes you don't exactly know where to go, but you can figure it out!! I recommend this to any girl who wants to have a cool adventure in this game!!! And I figured something out, for who doesn't know what to do or is stuck in the game! You just have to press Ctrl+Alt+Insert (at the same time) and then you should be able to see a pink mouse. Click on the cell phone and your best friend should give you a clue what to do next!!

Fashion Photography Secrets (DVD) Review

I own a copy and have viewed it several times now. Yes, it was shot in the early 90's. No, I don't think the presenter in the vid photographed the cover.
But, the presenter in the vid IS still one of Australia's TOP commercial/ fashion photographers. The info he presents can/ will jump start some ideas on lighting and handling a photoshoot for many people. Considering the vid is over an hr long and it's about $10-12... you can do MUCH worse for more money. Just because it's slightly dated doesn't mean it's useless... the rules of the shoot/ studio photography have changed very little.
My absolute favorite set of books on photographic instruction were written in the 60's and still contain far more useful info than most books written today. This video contains very useful information for the money.

Secret Agent Barbie Review

My 10 year old daughter liked this game and played it with great interest. Unfortunately, she solved it in 3 days of use. She was hoping for more adventures and levels. It has only one mission to solve even though the user visits many "exotic" locations and must learn to use newly acquired skills and abilities. It's interesting, but too short for the older girls. It would seem to last longer for younger girls who are learning how to play computer games.

Norman Rockwell: Artist and Illustrator Review

Norman Rockwell: Artist and Illustrator

My family is artsy, and when I was little, my dad or my uncle (I was too young to notice) gave this book to Grandpa for Christmas. It was the BIG GIFT that year. We all ooohed and aaahed over it. Grandpa and Grandma handled it so reverently. Whenever I would visit Grandpa and Grandma, I loved to sit down and look at every picture. (I had to wash my hands first.) This is a big book, like a coffee table book, with many, many pictures in full color, and big enough to see all the details. I could see how he painted each picture, how he handled the light, the expressions on the faces, how he made each person seem like someone you knew (or yourself), and how he make each story in the paintings reveal itself. The pictures are not shrunken down, black-and-white half-tones. They are reproduced like fresh Post Covers. I would sit there for a long time absorbing every page. I don't know if it has EVERY post cover, but it seems to, as well as other things like calendar pictures. When I grew up, I wanted that book so badly, so I went to a used book store (before the Internet) and bought it for $80, which was a lot for a young adult, but worth it. If you can get it for less, more power to you. This has more Norman Rockwell pictures than another Norman Rockwell book that I have ever seen. So if you only get one Norman Rockwell book, this is the one to get(except for his autobiography, which is hilarious.)
