(More customer reviews)This film is outstanding. It is real...hard...anything but fun. And it will change you. It touched me...my heart...my soul. I watched it 5 times in a 24-hour period. I could not stop watching, thinking, crying, grieving. It was as though my soul needed to connect with each soldier on a personal level and get to know them as individuals so that I could share a tiny moment of what they lived. We think we know...afterall our leaders told us, or we heard it on CNN, therefore it must be. But, we have no idea. "This is War" is a brilliant piece of work. It shares war on a much more real and personal level. War where the truth was not edited out. Life, death, love, hope, fear, trust, prayer. The story of the soldiers who risked their lives for me. The soldiers that I desperately need to thank. The soldier that I need to hold. The soldier who taught me gratitude. And the soldier who I'll never get to thank. Before you form media-driven opinions about war...watch this film. This IS war! My heart goes to the men and women who brought this message to us....In Love and Light.
