This software CD contains hundreds of dollars of fonts alone.
Our company, M.E.K.K. Autoworks, Inc. uses an unusual font in our logo. When we opened a new office in Florida we needed to supply them a copy of the font. Turns out it's several hundred dollars for all the variants. Instead we bought Corel Gallery Magic which contains the font.
In addition we got a great clip art collection and even photos!
Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)I have the Mac version at work and since I needed a font manager for my PC at home I decided to get a familiar brand. Well, the difference is huge. I've used it only a few days and it seems to work OK, however the offered features are by far more limited, which puzzles me why??!!?
1. On the Mac version they have "keywords" that describe fonts like "script", "serif" and so on. You can narrow your search a lot if you click on any of those. Besides, you can create your own keywords. This feature is entirely missing from the Windows version.
2. When I search for a font I have to scroll down through all the fonts I have in order to find one that I'm looking for. When you have over a 1000 fonts that becomes annoying! The Mac version has a "find" field which lets you type the first few characters of the name of the font you are looking for and it gives you all fonts that start with those - uh, much faster and user friendly!
3. The Mac version lets you create your own sets of favorite fonts, so you don't have to scroll through all the sets you have, this again is missing. (Disclaimer: this maybe due to the fonts being on a server, but i'm not sure if that's the case)
Overall, I'd say a disappointing job for a company who has alredy accomplished alot with their Mac version. You have more work to do!

When you open a document under OS 9, Suitcase automatically activates any fonts used in the document. Unfortunately, OS X doesnÕt support this feature. OS 9 users can activate fonts using the control strip or the application. OS X requires that Suitcase is running before activating fonts. You can set it to auto open on startup. Then minimize it and leave it in the dock and it will be there when you need it. You can activate fonts from the Dock or the application. Suitcase will also collect fonts to a single folder for sending out print jobs. You also get FontBook, an excellent sample page printing tool. The OS 9 features work under fine under Classic mode. OS X supports the new cross-platform OpenType fonts. ItÕs ease of use and OS X support make it a must have upgrade.

(More customer reviews)ATM is a very handy little program for managing fonts. It has great features, like advanced choosing of font folders, families, etc. The most useful item was the ability to easily turn on and off certain user designated font groups. It was also the only program I found that could print out all my fonts in a customized font booklet. The only reason I don't give this program the full five starts is because it seems like Adobe has left this program alone for a few years. It could use a new and improved interface. All in all, I like it a lot.

A good value for the price?
Who should buy this? Anyone who has a need to do some kind of artistic presentation. Anyone who with an upcoming special event, ie, wedding invitations, graduation invites, bar/bat mitvahs, birthday parties. Or hobbyist such as diarists. And, if you own graphic arts suite such as Adobe's or QuarkXpress.
Why? Because, with this package you have some really rare and outstanding fonts to work with. Not the run of the mill, free fonts that is more or less knockoff's of Times New Roman, Arial or useless fonts like dingbats.
600 fonts! Well, not exactly. It's roughly 100 distinct fonts with many "font family" views in about 6 different values from standard to italicized to bold, to expanded, to condensed, to wide to thin.
And, they're separated into 4 group headings: Classic, Refined, Creative, and Designer.
A good value for the price? Absolutely. For thirty dollars, you have some gems here such as: CaflishScriptPro, Cracked!,Flatbrush, Hiragino (Japanese Font), InaiMathi (Hindi font), Indent (a phantom-like font), Kai (another beautiful Japanese font),Papyrus, TsarHeavy (Russian font), Bow, Big Caslon, Baghdad (Arabic font), Ghandi, Gremlin solid, Ironwork, Liberate, Lucida Blackletter, Parade, Party, New Peninim (Hebrew), plus Schoolhouse Printed and Schoolhouse Cursive. *There are also two other Middle Eastern fonts-- I won't attempt to guess, but they're beautiful nonetheless.
It comes with a 5-license deal, and for $30 bucks, it's a no-brainer. It really is a beautiful collection.

(More customer reviews)being into web designs, there never seems to be enough fonts. Well maybe there is with this! I mean 10,000 quality TrueType fonts,specialized Alphabets, and neat word art images, this just about covers it all.
As with all ClickArt products, they are easy to use and they deliver what they promise. I bought one font CD that promised 4,000 fonts, and it had 400 fonts with the option to join their special font club and pay for more. I felt ripped off. I think ClickArt always delivers what they say.
When you consider some of these fonts - just 1 font cost $21.95 alone - this is an amazing buy.

I found the installation to be a little confusing and very time consuming. I was hoping to be able to install all fonts at once, instead of clicking on each individual font. The good news however, is that the" Mac Fonts 2" has 1000 fonts to choose from and a great variety for whatever the occasion may be. The quick reference guide provided with this software indicates that both true type,and open type fonts are available; the open type format is designed to work cross platform on macs and pc's, however, you must have compatible software. I give this software a 3 for moose rating.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this program looking for elegant fonts to use in my wedding invitations. Boy was I wrong! All of the fonts are the same ones you find in microsoft word 2007. On the bottom of the box in small font it states that the fonts on the box are used for illustration purposes only and may not be included in the program. I found this program to be very misleading. Don't waste your money like I did!

(More customer reviews)I didn't get a chance to fully use this product because it is not compatible with my operating system (Microsoft Windows Vista 64 bit). However, after speaking with SummitSoft customer service, I learned that this isn't an issue with standard 32 bit Vista users.
From what I could tell, the fonts included in this software weren't all bad. There were a few fonts that were outrageous, but there were a few that I would have used regularly. I particularly liked what I saw of the Elegant Font CD.
